The Stier Group has achieved something that seemed impossible a few years ago, to remain in the elite of training and maritime services after three decades of work, effort, innovation and enthusiasm.

Differences with other centres

In a globalised world in constant change and evolution, the Stier Group provides the necessary and relevant training courses in the port and maritime STCW sector in its own Centre. An ideal location, close to the airport of Gran Canaria and its ports.

A centre where students can study and develop theory and practice in spacious outdoor facilities in Taliarte. All this with: safety, comfort and with the necessary means, equipment and official certificates. The teaching staff (Opito, GWO and STCW) is well trained, multilingual and able to teach in a pleasant and efficient way.

In addition, the Stier Training Centre has an area with changing rooms and showers in the Centre itself, without forgetting the time to rest, in a relaxed way -among colleagues-, in the canteen, with refreshments to liven up the talks, in the breaks of the courses… A relaxed area of rest and disconnection to ‘recharge batteries’ and continue the classes with encouragement. Something that all the students appreciate.

When carrying out the programmed courses, the regulations of each body are always taken into account, which the Centre applies in the best way and in favour of a greater profitability of the time invested in all the courses.
One of the key values for the team that makes up the Stier Group is the positive result, with 80% of students immersed in the labour market each year, which strengthens the integrated training in the Stier Training Centre and demonstrates the reliability and effectiveness of the courses and training programmes that are taught.
