Objective

To equip the student with the ability to comply with and enforce onboard safety measures to effectively respond to emergencies of all kinds.

Content/Modules

Module 1 – Awareness and compliance with conditions established in a Protection Plan.

Module 2 – Risk and Threat Identification.

Module 3 – Periodic Inspections and Threat Identification.

Module 4 – Maintaining awareness and surveillance on board.

Module 5 – Use of equipment and protection systems.

Qualification

Certificate approved by the Directorate General of Merchant Marine (DGMM) and the Ministry of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda (MITMA).
