4. Bad weather. The fundamental thing is to seek refuge, to shelter to the maximum of the wind (to leeward). Then report situation, route and destination. If it is anchored, securely anchor the anchor.
5. Waterway. Make sure the bilge pump works. It is best to go to the port and, depending on the gravity, to the nearest and direct to the travelift of the marina or port to beach the ship, warning beforehand so that they are prepared. Check pump operation periodically.
6. Stranded / Embarrancada. If you do not have a waterway or major damage, the first thing is to try to free the ship with your own means or help from a nearby ship. If you have damage that prevents you from browsing, ask for help by radio.
7. Abandonment of the ship. Only when you see that your sinking is immediate and safe. In the meantime, stay in it, follow the recommendations above and prepare the raft in case you finally decide to use it. In case of abandonment remember to take the Radiobaliza with you.
8. Approach or blows. The blows between pleasure boats are usually cushioned by the sea and, if they are soft, even if they are bulky, there is most likely no significant damage. If there are, or there is a danger of sinking, follow the steps above and contact your insurance. If it has been with the bottom, assess the damage and check the boat (in the case of propellers, you will notice strong vibrations), in the case of the keel, rudder or ballast requires revision when arriving at the port.
